Montenegro selects best bidders for six SHPP projects

The best bidder for the Djuricka river location is the Plava Hydro Power consortium comprising Kosovo's Triangle GC ING and local firm Gradnja, the ministry said on its website.

The Hydro Bistrica consortium, comprising Triangle GC ING, Czech Republic's Vodni Zdroje and local companies Synergy and Gradnja, was ranked first for the SHPP project on the Bistrica river.

The Interenergo consortium, led by a unit of Austrian energy company Kelag, placed the best bid for the construction of a SHPP on the Vrbnica river.

The local consortium Hidroenergija Montenegro is the best bidder for the Kaludarska river SHPP while the Kutska i Mojanska tie-up placed the top bids for both the Mojanska and the Kutska rivers.

The tender was called in July.
