PODGORICA (Montenegro), October 28 (SeeNews) – Montenegro said on Wednesday it is seeking an advisor on the planned privatisation of its flag carrier Montenegro Airlines and maritime shipping company Barska Plovidba.

Interested companies from Montenegro and abroad can file their bids to advise the sale of the two companies until November 28. The financial offer will weigh more than 50% in the evaluation of the bids. A successful bidder should be experienced in advising sale of state-owned assets.
The government in Podgorica plans to privatise Montenegro Airlines through a new stock issue and sell a majority stake of Barska Plovidba's share capital, the statement said.
