- Steel mill Zeljezara said it has temporarily cut production due to an ongoing overhaul and the installation of new facilities which are expected to last until the end of February. Workers will be eligible to receive 100% of their base salary during the production halt.

- Russian companies are interested in investing in Montenegro's energy sector and, in particular, in the upgrade of existing and the construction of new electric power capacities, as well as in oil and gas exploration, Russia’s Economic Development Minister Elvira Nabiullina said during a meeting with her Montenegrin counterpart Branko Vujovic in Moscow.
- The Montenegrin government endorsed on Thursday a 27 million euro loan agreement with the European Investment Bank for the implementation of a project for an integrated system for solid waste management in line with European Union standards. The 25-year credit has a six-year grace period.
