The aim is to select the contractor by the end of the year, state broadcaster RTCG reported last weekend.
The project is expected to take two years to complete, Miroslav Masic, road transport adviser at Montenegro’s transport ministry, was quoted as saying.
The new bridge is expected to improve safety for travelers and facilitate smoother passage, especially for motorcyclists.
Additionally, plans include road improvements from Pluzine to Foca on the Montenegrin side and from Foca to the border with Montenegro on the Bosnian side.
