Montenegro Aug household electricity consumption up 5.0% y/y

PODGORICA (Montenegro), September 14 (SeeNews) – Montenegrin power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) said the electricity consumption of local households rose 5.0% year-on-year to 112.7 million kilowatthours in August.

The average household electricity bill in August was 39.59 euro ($51.6), 7.8% more than in July, EPCG said in a statement posted on its website on Thursday.

Montenegro has a population of 620,000.
