September 18 (SeeNews) - The credit portfolio of Montenegro’s commercial banks fell by an annual 6.48% to 2.61 billion euro ($3.83 billion) at the end of July, the country’s central bank, CBCG, said.
Deposits with Montenegrin banks totalled 1.733 billion euro at the end of July, down by 24% year-on-year.
At the end of June, Montenegrin banks’ loan portfolio totalled 2.63 billion euro, while deposits amounted to 1.76 billion euro.
