Freight traffic in the first ten months decreased by 30.9% to 647 tonnes, the Montenegrin Statistic Office said in a statement.
In October alone, passenger traffic rose 3.2% on the year to 81,314, while freight traffic increased by 3.1% to 66 tonnes.
In 2011, the combined passenger traffic at Montenegro’s two international airports rose 4.4% to 1,258,835 passengers.
The tiny Adriatic state of some 620,000 people has one airport in the capital Podgorica and a smaller one near the coastal resort town of Tivat.
