Food prices in the region fell by 0.04% month-on-month in October, while non-food prices grew by 1.2%, the ministry said in a statement.
The cumulative inflation for January-October was 25.5%, the ministry added.
Transdniestria's end-2007 inflation was 29.42%, compared to 8.9% a year earlier.
The region, with a population of 700,000, considers itself an independent state. Moldova has offered the region broad autonomy but Transdniestria, led by President Igor Smirnov, is seeking full independence.
