Moldova's Transdniestria Nov consumer prices up 0.26% m/m

In November, food and non-food prices added a monthly 0.43% and 0.26%, respectively, the ministry said in a statement. Prices in the services sector shed 0.01%.

Cumulative inflation for the first eleven months of the year was 9.53%.

Transdniestria’s 2011 inflation accelerated to 15.98% from 13.24% a year earlier.

Transdniestria, with a population of 700,000, considers itself an independent state. Moldova has offered it broad autonomy but the region is seeking full independence.
