Moldova's September CPI Rises 0.6% M/M, Up 10.7% Y/Y - Table

October 8 (SeeNews) - Moldova had a 0.6% monthly inflation in September compared to a 0.7% inflation a month earlier, the country's statistics office said on Wednesday.

Year-on-year, consumer price inflation in September slowed to 10.7% from 11.7% in August, the bureau said in a statement.

Cumulative inflation for the first nine months of 2008 was 6.7% versus 9.0% a year earlier.

The International Monetary Fund sees Moldova's consumer prices growing by 11.4% in 2008. The government has forecast year-end inflation of 11.5% for 2008, compared to 13.1% in 2007.
