Moldova's industrial output rises 1.8% y/y in Jan-Aug

October 21 (SeeNews) - Moldova's industrial production rose by 1.8% year-on-year in the first eight months of the year, unadjusted data from the National Bureau of Statistics, BNS, showed on Monday.

Moldova's industrial output rises 1.8% y/y in Jan-Aug
Industry

According to seasonally adjusted data, Moldova's industrial output rose by 2% on the year in January-August.

In August alone, industrial output rose by an unadjusted annual 0.5%, and increased by a seasonally adjusted 1.5% on the year.

BNS provided no month-on-month comparison.

Moldova's industrial production rose by an unadjusted 3.7% year-on-year in 2018.
