Moldova's Globauto Offers 6.05 Mln Lei (462,000 Euro) for 11.2% of Local Co Carmez

CHISINAU (Moldova), November 17 (SeeNews) – Moldovan transport company Globauto has offered to pay 6.02 million lei ($582,000/462,000 euro) for a 11.2% stake in local meat processing firm Carmez, the Moldovan Securities Commission, CNPF, said on Monday.

Globauto has proposed to buy 242,000 shares at a price of 25 lei each, the CNPF said in a statement. The offer will be valid for 30 days.

Carmez' capital is divided into 2.16 million shares with a par value of 10 lei each.

Chisinau-based Carmez is one of the largest meat processing companies in Moldova. It exports 20% of its output mainly to the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States and Romania.
