Moldova's Foreign Debt Falls to $2.146 Bln at End-Sept - Table

October 30 (SeeNews) - Moldova's foreign debt fell to $2.146 billion (1.6 billion euro) at the end of September from $2.151 billion a month earlier, the country's central bank, BNM, said on Thursday.

Moldova's debt to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) decreased to $172.57 million at the end of September from $174.29 million a month earlier, the BNM said in a monthly bulletin.

The end-of-month foreign debt figures released by the BNM exclude trade credits, non-resident deposits in Moldovan banks and local currency in possession of non-residents. The BNM releases figures for those liabilities quarterly, in a balance of payments report.

The central bank does not comment on changes in the country's foreign debt figures.
