Moldova's End-October M1 Money Supply Rises 14% Y/Y

November 20 (SeeNews) - Moldova's M1 money supply was 14% higher year-on-year at 10.96 billion lei ($1.06 billion/845 million euro) at the end of October, the country's central bank, BNM, said on Thursday.

Moldova's End-October M1 Money Supply Rises 14% Y/Y

Moldova's M2 money supply totalled 21.36 billion lei at end-October, up 13% from a year earlier, BNM said in a statement.

The central bank has projected that Moldova's money supply growth will slow down this year compared to last year. Moldova's M1 money supply increased by 32% in 2007 while the M2 aggregate rose by 47%.
