October 26 (SeeNews) - The net profit of Moldovan savings bank Banca de Economii fell by 77% on the year to 43.4 million lei ($3.9 million/2.6 million euro), the bank said on Monday.

Banca de Economii is Moldova's fourth-largest bank by assets with the largest branch network among the 15 commercial banks operating in the country. Banca de Economii is the sole majority state-owned bank in Moldova.
