February 28 (SeeNews) - Moldova’s agricultural production increased by 23.6% last year due to a significant increase in crop production, the country's statistical office said, citing preliminary data.
Crop production grew by an annual 35.1%, while the output of animal products edged down by 1.9% last year, the statistical office said in a press release on Tuesday.

In 2023, households saw an increase in the production of most crop categories, with cereals and legumes registering an annual surge of 79.1%. Livestock production decreased by 1.4%, while milk and egg production fell by 3.4% and 4.5%, respectively.
