October 24 (SeeNews) - The volume of Moldova's railway, road and air freight traffic rose by 5.7% on the year to 13 million tonnes in the first nine months of 2008, the country's statistics bureau said on Friday.

Calculated in freight tonne-kilometres (FTK), traffic grew by 8.4% on the year to 3.8 billion FTK through September.
