December 4 (SeeNews) - Moldovan flag carrier Air Moldova said on Monday its November passenger traffic rose by 7.0% on the year to 26,314.
The highest rise in traffic last month was registered on the routes to St.Petersburg and Moscow in Russia, up 43% and 14%, respectively, the company said in a statement.
Traffic on the route Chisinau-Frankfurt rose by an annual 6.0% in November.
Passenger traffic reached 347,300 in January-November this year. The company gave no comparative figure.
Air Moldova holds a share of over 50% of the airline passenger traffic in the country. It operates 16 regular international routes.
Earlier this year Air Moldova said it sees the growth of its passenger traffic slowing to 10% this year from 19% last year due to the global economic downturn.
