Primary dealers placed bids for a total of 72.7 million lei worth of government securities in the auction, BNM said in a statement. The central bank, which sells the T-bills on behalf of the Finance Ministry, offered 91-day, 182-day and 364-day bills in the auction.
Yields on 91-day T-bills fell to 18.43% from 18.63% in the previous auction held on October 7. Dealers placed bids for 27 million lei worth of T-bills versus 22 million lei on offer.
The 182-day T-bills yielded 18.41%, lower than the 18.98% achieved in the previous auction on October 7. The BNM received bids for 21 million lei versus 11 million lei on offer.
Yields on the 364-day T-bills fell to 18.29% from 18.76% on October 7, as dealers placed bids for 25.2 million lei worth of T-bills against 12 million lei on offer.
