Primary dealers placed bids for a total of 261.1 million lei in 91-day, 182-day and 364-day T-bills, the central bank, which auctions government securities on behalf of the finance ministry, said in a statement.
Yields on the 91-day T-bills decreased to 4.96% from 5.13% in the previous auction held on September 11. Dealers placed bids worth 82.2 million lei against 45 million lei on offer on Tuesday.
Yields on the 182-day T-bills fell to 5.21% from 5.47% in the previous auction held last Tuesday. The central bank received bids for 112 million lei worth of T-bills compared to 58 million lei on offer.
Yields on the 364-day T-bills were down to 6.66% from 6.82% in the previous auction on September 11 as dealers placed bids for 66.9 million lei worth of T-bills against 30 million lei on offer.
