December 22 (SeeNews) - The average gross salary in Moldova, one of Europe's poorest nations, grew by a real 8.6% on the year to 4,309.5 lei ($274.5/223.8 euro) in October, the country's statistics office said on Monday.

Moldova Oct avg gross salary rises by real 8.6% y/y - table

The average monthly salary was 3,798.6 lei in the public sector and 4,519.3 lei in the private sector in October, the office said in a statement.
