Moldova Agroindbank posted a net profit of 166.8 million lei ($13.6 million/10.6 million euro) in January-June, followed by Victoriabank and Moldinconbank with net profits of 122.9 million lei and 108.1 million lei, respectively, Estimator-VM said on its website (www.Evm.md) last week.
The combined total revenue and net profit of the Moldovan banking system grew by annual 7.19% and 52.21%, respectively, in the first six months, the agency said.
Fourteen commercial banks operated in Moldova, a country of nearly four million people, in the first half of 2012.
