November 13 (SeeNews) - Moldova's retail sales rose by a real 13.4% on the year to 15.4 billion lei ($1.5 billion/1.2 billion euro) in the first nine months of 2008, the country's statistics bureau said on Thursday.

Moldova 9-mo Retail Sales Rise Real 13.4% Y/Y

In September alone, retail sales grew by 15.2% on the year, the bureau said in a statement.
