Majority owner makes bid to fully acquire Romania's Transbuz Slatina

October 29 (SeeNews) - The majority owner of Romania's Transbuz Slatina [BSE:TRSO] has made a mandatory offer to acquire the remaining 44.15% in the public transport company for 557,803 lei ($158,000/ 123,000 euro), according to a bourse filing published on Monday.

The individual bidder, Eugen Oprescu, has offered 7.7 lei per share, the company added. The price, according to Romanian regulations, should not be lower than the highest price of the stock in the last 12 months. The offer period is from November 1 through November 21.

Oprescu reached recently 55.85% in the company by adding 28.33% in August at 5.5 lei apiece.

Rasdaq-listed Transbuz Slatina operates in the southwestern Olt county. It generated a revenue of 5.2 million lei in 2011.
