Magna Seating to start production in Serbia on Dec 5

BELGRADE (Serbia), November 23 (SeeNews) – Magna Seating, a unit of Canadian auto-part supplier Magna International, will put into operation on December 5 its car seat upholstery line in Odzaci, northern Serbia, local media reported on Friday.

Magna Seating to start production in Serbia on Dec 5

The construction of the 5.6 million euro ($7.2 million) manufacturing site started this spring, ekapija (www.ekapija.com) reported. The company plans to employ 120 in the first phase and expects to increase this number to more than 400 by 2015.

The town of Odzaci has provided 2.68 hectares for the factory site.
