Macedonia’s Vip Operator names new chief marketing director

Tognoni's experience and expertise will allow Vip Operator’s management team to successfully implement its strategy of continued growth on the Macedonian mobile telecommunications market, the company said in a statement.

Vip Operator posted positive earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) of 1.5 million euro ($1.9 million) in the third quarter, compared to negative EBIT of 1.6 million euro a year earlier, its parent company Telekom Austria Group said earlier on Wednesday.

Vip Operator (www.vip.mk) competes with Magyar Telekom's unit T-Mobile Makedonija and Telekom Slovenije's ONE in the country of two million.
