The bank’s net interest income rose by 5.9% to 320.3 million denars in the first nine months, while non-interest income remained flattish on the year at 142.8 million denars, UNIBanka said in a statement.
The bank’s net assets totalled 11.16 billion denars at the end of September.
Skopje-based UNIBanka (www.unibank.com.mk) was set up in 1993. It ranks among the country's medium-sized banks in terms of assets. Two foreign individuals hold a combined stake of over 75% in UNIBanka.
Sixteen banks operate in Macedonia, a country of two million.
