Macedonia’s September CPI Rises 7.1 % Y/Y - Table

October 1 (SeeNews) - Macedonia’s September consumer price index (CPI) rose by 7.1% year-on-year, after rising by an annual 8.6% in August, the State Statistics Office said on Wednesday.

The September CPI was 0.2 % lower than a month earlier, the statistics office said in a statement.

In September 2007, the index was 0.9 % up month-on-month and 3.6 % higher on the year.

The value of the consumer basket for food and beverages for a household of four, calculated on the basis of retail prices, was 11,900 denars ($274/193.7 euro) in September, down by 0.5% from the previous month.
