November 24 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's average net salary was 20,044 denars ($489/327 euro) in September, up by a nominal 18.7% from a year earlier, the Macedonian Statistics Office said on Tuesday.
In August the average net salary in the country was 19,867 denars.
The annual increase reflects higher wages in healthcare and social services, as well as in the sectors of electricity, gas and water supply and fishing, the Statistics Office said in a statement.

The office also said that 2.6% of the people employed in Macedonia received no remuneration in September.
