November 5 (SeeNews) - Macedonian services provider RZ Uslugi Skopje AD said on Thursday it turned to a preliminary pre-tax loss of 6.88 million denars ($165,496/111,689 euro) in the first nine months of 2009, from a net profit of 5.79 million denars a year ago.

Following are details from RZ Uslugi's income statement filed with the Macedonian Stock Echange (MSE), where it is listed (in millions of denars):

Jan-Sept'09 Jan-Sept'08
PRE-TAX PROFIT/LOSS -6.88 5.79
OPERATING PROFIT/LOSS -8.60 8.26
SALES REVENUE 101.29 211.67

The company stock closed flat at 546 denars on Thursday.

Skopje-based RZ Uslugi, once part of communist-era steel giant Zelezarnica, has been fully privatised.

The company provides telecommucation, water supply and fire protection services, including water pumping support and repairing of fire fighting apparatus. RZ Uslugi has 230 employees.
