Macedonia's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by a revised 5.9% in 2007.
The country's GDP rose to 104.772 billion denars ($2.38 billion/1.69 billion euro) in the third quarter of 2008, the statistics office said in a statement.
The sectors of mining, manufacturing, and electricity, gas and water supply posted the highest yearly growth rate in the third quarter, 10.6%, followed by wholesale and retail trade with 8.9%
