Macedonia’s Ohridska Banka signs 15 mln euro subordinated loan deal with Societe Generale

October 4 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's Ohridska Banka [MSE:OHB] said it has signed an agreement for a 10-year 15 million euro ($17.66 million) subordinated loan from its majority owner, France’s Societe Generale.

Ohridska Banka needs the financing to make sure it adheres to the Basel capital requirements, the lender said in a bourse filing on Tuesday.

French banking group Societe Generale owns a 70.02% stake in Ohridska Banka.

The lender is part of Macedonia's blue-chip index MBI-10.
