Macedonia's MEPSO opens 40.5 mln euro tender for upgrade of transmission grid - EBRD

August 21 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's electricity transmission company MEPSO opened a 40.5 million euro ($47.62 million) tender for the rehabilitation of its transmission grid and power system control, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said on Monday.

The project is co-financed by EBRD loan and MEPSO own funds, EBRD said in a procurement notice.

The project includes rehabilitation and equipment for sub-stations, telecommunication equipment, overhead transmission lines.

Interested foreign and local companies are invited to apply until August 18, 2018.
