November 9 (SeeNews) - Macedonia's largest fuel retailer, Makpetrol AD, said on Monday it turned to a preliminary pre-tax loss of 191.97 million denars ($4.6 million/3.1 million euro) through September from a pre-tax profit of 168.07 million euro a year ago.

The shares of Makpetrol (www.makpetrol.com.mk), a blue-chip index heavyweight, closed down 1.1% at 46,007 denars on Monday.
With its 110 filling stations, Makpetrol dominates the Macedonian market, controlling a share of some 60% at the end of 2008. It employs some 1,930 people.
