Macedonia’s Makedonijaturist eyes 12% rise in 2014 operating profit

December 31 (SeeNews) - Macedonian hotel and catering company Makedonijaturist [MSE:MTUR] said on Tuesday it expects to post an operating profit of 180.9 million denars ($4.0 million/2.9 million euro) in 2014, 12% up from its estimate for 2013.

Makedonijaturist’s consolidated net profit rose 1.0% on the year to 168.9 million denars in the first nine months of 2013.

The company plans to post an operating income of 441.3 million denars and operating costs of 260.4 million denars in 2014, up by 8.0% and 5.0%, respectively, from its estimate for 2013.

Blue chip Makedonijaturist runs seven hotels, including Holiday Inn and Best Western in the capital of Skopje, as well as three restaurants.
