The MBI-10 index, tracking the 10 blue-chip companies on the MSE, on Friday closed one percent lower from a week earlier at 2,359.10 points. The MBID index, which includes the shares of the 10 most liquid public companies, closed 3.8% down from last Friday at 2,592.86.
The stock exchange on Thursday said that 234,374 shares of NLB Tutunska Banka AD Skopje, part of Slobenia's NLB Group, changed hands in a block deal worth 1.2 billion denars ($25.3 million/18.9 million euro). The shares form 27.44% of NLB Tutunska's capital.
Total turnover on the MSE excluding the block deal rose to 127.9 million denars ($2.7 milllion/2.0 million euro) this week from 107.13 million denars last week. Turnover on the bourse's official floor rose to 118 million denars from 101.27 million denars last week. Turnover on the unofficial floor increased to 9.9 million denars from 5.86 million.
Construction company Granit AD Skopje traded most this week, generating turnover of 20.5 million denars.
