Macedonia's Komercijalna Banka Prelim 9-Mo Net Profit Rises 70% -Table

October 13 (SeeNews) - The preliminary net profit of Macedonia's largest commercial bank Komercijalna_Banka_AD_Skopje through September rose 70% on the year to 1.27 billion denars ($28.07 million/20.57 million euro), the bank said on Monday.

Following are details from Komercijalna Banka's income statement sent to the Macedonian Stock exchange (MSE) where the company is listed (in millions of denars):

Komercijalna Banka's shares are among the 10 most liquid stocks of the blue-chip index of the Macedonian Stock exchange. The bank's stock closed at 4,175 denars on Friday, 5.1% down from a day earlier.

Skopje-based Komercijalna Banka ( www.kb.com.mk ) is the largest Macedonian bank in terms of profit, assets, capital, corporate current accounts and payment and settlement transactions. It is the only large Macedonian bank that is not majority foreign-owned. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is the bank's only foreign shareholder with a 6.5% stake.
