Macedonia's Fersped 9-mo cons net profit rises 38%

SKOPJE (Macedonia), November 1 (SeeNews) – Macedonian holding company Fersped [MSE:FERS] said its consolidated net profit rose to 127.5 million denars ($2.7 million/2.1 million euro) in the first nine months of 2012 from 92.6 million denars a year ago.

The company’s operating income fell 8.0% on the year to 3.5 billion denars in the first nine months, while operating costs decreased 9.0% to 3.4 billion denars, Fersped said in its consolidated financial statement filed with the Macedonian Stock Exchange on Wednesday.

Fersped (www.fersped.com.mk) is the biggest forwarding company in Macedonia. Its core business is international and inland forwarding and warehousing.
