Macedonia's end-Nov mandatory pension fund assets up 2.1% m/m

December 12 (SeeNews) - The net assets managed by Macedonia's two mandatory pension funds rose to 20.69 billion denars ($436.9 million/336.4 million euro) at the end of November from some 20.3 billion denars a month earlier, official data indicated.

KB Prv Otvoren Zadolzitelen Penziski Fond (KBPz) ranked first with 11.12 billion denars in net assets at the end of November, followed by NLB Otvoren Zadolzitelen Penziski Fond (NLBz) with 9.57 billion denars, according to figures released by the country's pension insurance supervision agency, MAPAS.

KBPz had 169,124 clients at end-November compared to NLBz's 152,413.

KBPz is managed by KB Prvo Drustvo za Upravuvanje so Penziski Fondovi (www.kbprvo.com.mk), co-owned by Slovenia's Skupina Prva and Macedonia's Komercijalna Banka.

NLBz is managed by NLB Nov Penziski Fund (www.npf.com.mk), co-owned by Slovenia’s Nova Ljubljanska Banka and its Macedonian unit, NLB Tutunska Banka.

Macedonia has a population of 2.0 million.
