Macedonia's End-Nov Mandatory Pension Fund Assets Rise 3.0% M/M

December 9 (SeeNews) - The net assets managed by Macedonia's two mandatory pension funds totalled 4.764 billion denars ($98 million/76 million euro) at the end of November, up 3.0% from a month earlier, data from the country's pension insurance supervision agency MAPAS showed on Tuesday.

KB Prv Otvoren Penziski Fond (KB Prv) ranked first with 2.648 billion denars in net assets at the end of November, followed by Nov Penziski Fond (NPF) with some 2.116 billion denars, MAPAS data showed.

KB Prv also led in terms of number of members with 100,922, versus NPF's 92,796 at the end of November.

KB Prv is managed by KB Prvo Drustvo za Upravuvanje so Penziski Fondovi, whose owners are Ljubljana-based Skupina Prva DD with a 51% stake and Komercijalna_Banka_AD_Skopje which holds 49%.

NPF is managed by Nov Penziski Fund. Slovenia’s Nova Ljubjanska Banka (NLB) has 51% of Nov Penziski Fund’s capital and its Macedonia unit, NLB Tutunska Banka AD Skopje holds 49%.

Macedonia has a population of two million people.
