October 28 (SeeNews) - The gross foreign exchange reserves held by Macedonia's central bank, NBRM, rose 2.7% month-on-month to 1.599 billion euro ($1.999 billion) at the end of August, Finance Ministry data showed on Tuesday.

Macedonia’s foreign exchange reserves totaled 1,524.4 million euro at end of 2007.
