Macedonia's Beton Skopje 9-mo non-cons net profit falls sharply

SKOPJE (Macedonia), November 15 (SeeNews) – Macedonian construction company Beton Skopje [MSE:GRNT] said on Wednesday its non-consolidated net profit plummeted 81% year-on-year to 11.2 million denars ($215,200/182,100 euro) in the January-September period of 2017.

The company’s operating revenue fell by an annual 19% to 1.34 billion denars in the first nine months of the year, Beton Skopje said in a bourse filing.

Total operating expenses declined 14% on the year to 1.36 billion denars in the period under review.

Beton Skopje’s financial revenue fell by an annual 26% to 42.8 million denars in the review period, while financial expenses decreased 27% to 33.7 million denars.

Beton Skopje, founded in 1947, designs and builds houses, roads, bridges, tunnels, hydro systems and factories.
