Macedonia's August Jobless Numbers Rise 0.5% M/M - Table

October 6 (SeeNews) - The number of people unemployed in Macedonia rose 0.5% month-on-month to 342,518 in August, data from the government's Employment Service Agency’s indicated on Tuesday.

The Employment Service Agency does not release jobless rate figures. These are issued quarterly by the country's State Statistics Office.

Macedonia's unemployment rate fell to 32.7% in the first quarter from 34.8% a year earlier. Macedonia has a population of two million people.
