Macedonia’s August Construction Projects Value More than Halves M/M - Table

SKOPJE (Macedonia), October 6 (SeeNews) – The estimated value of construction projects covered by building permits issued in Macedonia in August more than halved month-on-month to 2.550 billion denars ($58.67 million/43.11 million euro), the country’s statistics office said on Monday.

No comparative figures for last year were immediately available.

A total of 317 construction permits were issued in August, which is 12.8% more than a month earlier, the statement said. Of them, 268 permits were issued to individuals and 49 to business entities, the statistics office said in a statement.

Of the total number of issued building permits, 258 were for buildings, 11 for civil engineering projects and 48 for reconstruction.

In July, the number of construction permits issued was 281. Of them, 217 permits were issued to individuals and 64 to the business entities.
