Macedonia's 10-mo cons budget deficit widens 5.8%

SKOPJE (Macedonia), December 24 (SeeNews) – Macedonia’s consolidated budget gap widened 5.8% to 18.1 billion denars ($363 million/294 million euro) in the ten months through October, finance ministry data indicated.

The budget deficit in the January - October period was equivalent to 3.4% of the country's gross domestic product (GDP) projected for this year, the finance ministry said in a monthly report.

The government targets a budget deficit of 3.9% in 2014.

In 2013, the country's consolidated budget deficit totalled 19.2 billion denars and was equivalent to 3.9% of the GDP.
