December 4 (SeeNews) - The Macedonian stock indices ended mixed this week in halved turnover, bourse data showed on Friday.
The MBI-10 index, which tracks the 10 blue-chip companies on the Macedonian Stock Exchange JSC (MSE), closed at 3,020.53, down 0.4% from last Friday. The broader MBID index, which comprises the 11 most liquid stocks, rose 2.3% from last Friday to 3,257.15 points.
The MSE's total turnover halved to 75.2 million denars ($1.8 million/1.2 million euro) from 148.2 million denars last week. Turnover on the bourse's official floor fell to 65.9 million denars from 128.4 million denars last week.
Turnover on the unofficial floor decreased to 9.3 million denars from 19.8 million denars a week earlier.
Pharmaceutical company Alkaloid AD Skopje was most traded this week, recording a turnover of 13.3 million denars.
