The MBI-10 index, which tracks the 10 blue chips on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE), closed 2.2% lower from last Friday at 1,763.53 points.
The MBID index, which comprises the eight most liquid joint stock companies with reporting obligations, lost 0.7% from a week ago, ending at 1,698.39 points on Friday.
MSE's total turnover increased to 34.06 million denars ($727,860/553,905 euro) in five trading sessions this week from 20.8 million denars in four trading sessions last week.
The Macedonian bourse was closed on October 11 for the National Uprising Day, a public and market holiday.
Turnover on the bourse's official floor more than doubled to 27.9 million denars from 12.5 million denars, while turnover on the unofficial floor fell to 6.2 million denars from 8.3 million denars.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] was the most traded stock this week, generating a turnover of some 11 million denars.
