November 12 (SeeNews) - The Macedonian stock indices stayed negative in holiday-shortened trading this week, bourse data showed on Thursday.
The Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) will be closed on Friday for Tree Planting Day.
The MBI-10 index, which tracks the 10 blue-chip companies on the MSE, closed at 3,435.16 points on Thursday, down 0.9% from last Friday. The broader MBID index, which comprises the 11 most liquid stocks, fell 2.5% from last Friday to 3, 473.37.
The MSE's total turnover halved to 37.3 million denars ($908,559/604,602 euro) in the four trading sessions this week, from 74.2 million denars a week earlier. Turnover on the bourse's official floor declined to 31.5 million denars from 63.6 million denars last week. Turnover on the unofficial floor fell to 5.8 million denars from 10.6 million denars a week earlier.
The shares of Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje were the most traded this week, recording a turnover of 6.7 million denars.
