MSE’s Board of Directors decided on Wednesday to lower the daily permitted share price fluctuations on the official floor from +/-10% to +/-5% of the basic stock price, while on the unofficial floor, the share price fluctuation range is set at +/-10%, MSE said in a statement. There was no limit previously.
Following the global bear trend on fears of a world-wide recession, the blue-chip index, MBI-10, fell sharply to 3.623.66 points on Wednesday, 7.6% down from a day earlier, hitting the lowest point this year.
