Macedonian mandatory pension funds end-Nov assets up 2.5% m/m

December 25 (SeeNews) - The net assets managed by Macedonia's two mandatory pension funds increased to 32.6 billion denars ($646 million/530 million euro) at the end of November from 31.8 billion denars a month earlier, official data indicated.

KB Prv Otvoren Zadolzitelen Penziski Fond (KBPz) ranked first with 17.5 billion denars in net assets at the end of November, followed by NLB Otvoren Zadolzitelen Penziski Fond (NLBz) with 15.1 billion denars, according to figures released by Macedonia's pension insurance supervision agency, MAPAS.

KBPz had 194,981 clients at the end of November and NLBz had 177,349.

KBPz is managed by KB Prvo Drustvo za Upravuvanje so Penziski Fondovi, co-owned by Slovenia's Skupina Prva and Macedonia's Komercijalna Banka.

NLBz is managed by NLB Nov Penziski Fund, co-owned by Slovenia’s Nova Ljubljanska Banka and its Macedonian unit, NLB Tutunska Banka.

Macedonia has a population of 2.0 million.
